Hi guys!

Ho ware you doing? It's almost weekend again, isn't that a good feeling? I got some fun plans, what about you?

These photos are from last week. Although it's June, there is still this strange unsettled weather here, not really summery, so the other day it rained cats and dogs. I spent the day at the office but was able to leave in the afternoon and just in time it stopped raining and got sunny and sticky - so I thought it would be a nice opportunity to take photos in the nearby forest as there would probably not be many people.

I headed to the lovely little pond that's located at the edge of the forest next to a farm. It's such a lovely place anyway and after the rain it was especially beautiful with the sunlight falling onto the raindrop-moistened plants. Look how they glow so green in the background - gorgeous!

In this outfit I remixed my new floral dress that I had worn some days before here. I have already mentioned that on most days I don't really feel like wearing shorter dresses as I'm not really happy with my thighs, so this day I wore it as a kind of tunic with jeans and chucks - nice and comfortable.

I also wore my lovely "Dummy Cat Necklace" that I bought from Labyrinth Vintage some years ago. They have a new website and online shop now, so if you are into animal jewelry as much as I am, I highly recommend a glance at their collection! :)

Box No. 2, nice pure design...

I love it! Except for the drag queen eyeshadow I am totally happy with my first box and already can't wait for the next one to arrive :)

Which one shall I keep? I'm so indecisive because I love them both.
Black is an allrounder that will go with any outfit, but brown is a warmer colour that looks more cozy and friendly.

invisible movement

Hi guys!

No my eyesight has not gotten worse overnight and no I also have not been concealing contact lenses from you. The truth is: these plastic glasses were only 3€ so I bought them just for fun.
Actually I already own a pair of fake glasses, a really pretty pair with lizard print that I put in my shopping bag just randomly when I purchased some accessories at Modcloth last year. But these Modcloth glasses are real geek glasses, they look cute but are pretty big so I never wear them out.
However the cheap plastic ones that you can see in the photos are a bit more discreet concerning the size. well at least as discreet as geek glasses can be, right? Anyway, I wore them out when i had to run errands the other day and got neither strange looks, nor giggles nor whatever, it felt just fine. Unfortunately when I'm in a rush I start to sweat on my forehead so the glasses kept steaming up and eventually I took them off because i had to clean them with the sleeve of my jacket every 5 minutes. But I think I'll still wear them out from time to time though...

What do you think about wearing fake glasses? Is it stupid for people who don't need real ones? Or is it just an accessory like a belt, headband or necklace?
I must admit I didn't like this trend when it first occured about two years ago but now I'm like why not?! It's a good way to change your looks and style and to try out something new without being forced to spend a fortune on real optical products. My last eyesight test actually showed that I could wear glasses with -0,5 diopter, but that's nothing so why not try to keep my vision good as long as possible and wear fake glasses instead?



By the way I've been having an obsession with this plumish red Maybelline Superstay 24 Color in "Absolute Plum" lately (and I red that when you wear glasses the make-up should emphasize the lips?!).

fall accessories overkill

Hi guys!

I'm a bit disappointed. Here in Germany we didn't really have summer weather this year, which makes me very happy (no allergies, no insect bites, no endless sweating...) but now at the end of August the weather decides to turn summery. Sticky 28° degrees celsius and an air humidity of 70%, horrible if you ask me.
I was already in a fall mood and was looking forward to cloudy mild days and now that!
