Hi lovelies!

Here I am again, relaxed and happy after I had the last five days off. It was SO nice! I was able to go out and have fun by night and spend my time in pyjamas at home by day - this is exactly how I like it. It is so good to just waste your time doing unimportant stuff without having a bad conscience about to-do lists.
It was the first chance in months to really relax, so I listened to audio books, ate junk food, didn't count calories, didn't clean up, didn't care about the laundry - nothing! Just some nice and pure relaxation.
Okay, I admit my apartment looked like a mess and I wasn't happy about another kilo I had gained, BUT it was totally worth it. I had been so stressed about everything before. A long-distance relationship is no walk in the park, plus waiting for the bachelor results and trying to find a weekend job asap was so nerve-wrecking. Luckily everything is fine again now.

I am superhappy because I finally got a weekend job now - one thing less to worry about! I already mentioned the trial shift at a coffee shop the other day and how much I liked it there. Well, it'll be my new hangout for the weekends now, yay! I'll learn how to make coffee and yummy smoothies and frozen shakes and other cool stuff. The colleagues are really nice too and the place is located in a central area of the city where lots of different interesting customers walk in everyday. Also there are of two of the city's best Japanese sushi and ramen places just around the corner which might come in handy after work.

As for the outfit it mostly consists of recent buys. I found the lovely dress and cardi two months ago and knew they would look great together. The bag is also brand new, I bought it yesterday because I had been looking for a spacious black bag for ages and I needed to reward myself for scoring the new job. So it had to be this fringed baby which in my opinion looks supercool! My boyfriend said it reminds him of the Predator - tz tz men...

Until next post,

Hi loves!
How are you? Hope everything's fine and you're enjoying the first days of real autumn right now.
Well I totally do! It's not hot but still warm enough to wear dresses with sheer tights. Awesome much?!
For example the outfit in the photos which I put together around my lovely new bag!
I teamed up with a really cool online shop called Surfdome.com and was totally thrilled about it because they offer all the stuff I love, namely a huge variety of surfer, snowboarder and skater clothing and accessories. Even if I was never really good at skateboarding and never had the chance to try snowboardnig or surfing, these are still my roots, this is where I come from, who I hung out with and what I feel good in.
Surfdome was so kind to send me an item of choice and I just had to go for this great weekender bag! Among others they offer a range of awesome Mi-Pac bags and backpacks in lots of different cool styles. My very favourite was this star-printed one.
I'll be travelling a lot in October, so this bag will be the perfect companion for hand luggage and it'll totally pop between all the boring grey and black ones at the airport.
As for reviewing the Mi-Pac Duffel Stars Bag I don't have anything to complain about. It is really spacious, has the perfect size for hand luggage, as a gym bag or for weekend trips, is made of robust polyester, jazzed up with the star print and lovely faux suede accents and comes with two handles and a padded shoulder pad.
Also the print doesn't come off when you scratch along a wall or such (because, clumsy as I am, I already managed to try this out by accident).
I'm completely happy with my new star-printed buddy and I'm sure it will be great for my upcoming trips!

Many many thanks to Surfdome and their friendly staff for this courtesy! I can definitely recommend their online shop to you (just so you know, they are UK-based but offer international shipping).
You can also support them and take a closer look at their Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest or Youtube!

Have a good Monday everyone!

darth vader and I

Hi lovelies!

I almost wrote "Happy Monday!" but whoops it's Tuesday already. I had the day off yesterday so it still felt like weekend to me. I didn't do anything exciting, I just went looking for some birthday presents because April is the birthday month in my circle of friends and family! Three in a row on the 17th, 18th and 19th - always expensive but also always big fun.
The rest of the day was spent lounging about in bed watching documentaries about Iceland, deep sea fishes and religious mysteries. Haha I know how that sounds - welcome to the nerd life!

So, it's me and Darth Vader again. Yep we've become good friends since he was in the mail last year, actually it's my very favourite bag and I use it almost everyday. Why? Well, first of all because I like Star Wars a lot, but also because it has exactly the right size for all my stuff and because it's versatile, cool and I get lots of comments about it.
Yesterday even the punk kids who scrounged cigarettes from me gave me major props on Lord Vader and today at the campus bus stop I also got a compliment for my Stormtroopers bag. Conclusion? Star Wars bags rule!

I have to apologize in advance because as long as it's not too warm my outfit posts will most likely always include this favourite parka of mine. It's perfect for all kinds of looks, I throw it on and voilà I'm good to go.
Aaand another favourite in this outfit: the shoes. They'll appear here a lot as well. Beautifully soft leather, white soles, slim shape is all I need on my feet for spring.

What are your transition favourites?

Have a nice day!

forecasting

Hi guys!

Let me forecast what I'll get for Christmas today!
No I won't lie to you... I already know what I'll get for Christmas.
Well, this year Patrick and I told each other our Christmas wishes, so I bought him a Dingoo A320 and he bought me this:

the Fjäll Räven Vintage Shoulder Bag

(picture taken from globetrotter.de)

Aw I love it, can't wait for Christmas!

Fjäll Räven is a Swedish outdoor brand, they mostly sell these superwarm outdoor jackets, trekking backpacks and tents and all, but they also have these awesome everyday bags and mini backpacks that are pretty popular here in Germany at the moment. Their logo is this cute little fox :)

I normally buy vintage bags or 2nd hand or from thrift shops, so this one will be my first non-2nd hand high quality bag since have my parents bought me my first Eastpak back when I was 14 or so.
I'm so looking forward to finally having a proper big bag for uni.

What will you get for Christmas?

P.S. I apologize in advance for probably not being able to respond to your all of your lovely comments before Sunday (the weekend is packed with nice events, I'll tell you more about it tomorrow).

Have a great day!
