Hi guys!
Today I'm showing you the last bunch of photos from the Budapest trip with my friend Farah. You're probably like "Gosh, finally! No more Budapest photos!", but actually it will continue at the end of this month because my company is going to send me there agin for two more weeks. Yay, most likely I'll even be able to return to the lovely little apartment we stayed at instead of the stuffy hotel room from last year.
But everything at the proper time, so first here we go with the pics.
That day we first made our way across the Danube over the Elisabeth (Sissi) Bridge to the Buda side of the city. It leads directly to the foot of the hill where Buda Castle is located on and there is this little funicular for lazy tourists like us to go up ;)
Tihihi, in the one pic you can see me feeling like Dora the Explorer ;)
We visited the pretty Buda Castle and walked the way down to Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion afterwards, from where you have a beautiful view on the Pest side, especially on the Parliament.
Unfortunately the weather was rather drab and cold, so for the way back down to the city center we took the so-called castle bus.
Whew, you can't imagine how our feet hurt after four days of sightseeing. We both were all hungry and crotchety, but it was our lucky day: T.G.I.F. had 50% discount on all dishes! How cool is that? Our chance to rest the feet and stuff our face with steak, fries and brownies.
And the last pic shows us after an extensive shopping spree through the Westend Mall on our day of departure. Many lovely buys to come in the future outfit posts... ;)
Have a great day everyone!
