Oh what a day, don't we all just hate Mondays?! Actually Mondays should be loved, they're great days: the beginning of a new week, the possibility to make a fresh new start. But how can you make a new start if you're dog-tired and could barely drag yourself out of bed in the morning? On Sunday nights I'm always so motivated, I'm all like "I'll read much more for university, I'll eat healthier, I'll organize my days better, all starting from tomorrow - Monday is the day!" and then on Monday morning I push the snooze button at least three times and while still half asleep make up excuses for not going to work or uni.
Okay, in the end I (almost) always go - but all sleepy and unmotivated and with the plan of falling into bed right after coming home in the afternoon.
Where does this motivation go on a Monday morning? A mystery that will never be solved I guess.

Okay, enough about the lack of motivation. I took these photos last Friday at Schloss Eller - yes that location again. Maybe you remember the background from this post?
Around the castle and in the woods are so many hidden places to take self-timer photos, so amazing for tripodless bloggers like moi.
And it's so close to our home! Now that the days become longer I can even still go there after work to take some snapshots - a luxury I didn't have in winter.
Here is something about the outfit: the other day, after I had already lost three kilos with Weight Watchers, I thought I could go downtown to try finding some new pants. As most of you might know yourselves, the whole process of finding new pants is one mean pain in the ass. If they fit your thighs, they won't fit your butt, if they fit your hips, they won't fit your waist etc.
I'm not sure if it was the three kilos less or if I just had a lucky day, but even found two new pants: a pair of skinny jeans and these beautiful checkered chinos you can see in the photos.
They are made of some really soft blended fabric, have a classic grey/black checkered pattern and the chino cut is so comfortable! Not to mention they were on sale for 30€.
They'll definitely become a spring staple and I really wanted to try out some styles with them, so this is a casual one I came up with that day.
So, what do you think of the pants? And what do you think of Mondays? ;)
Hope you had a halfway nice day!
