Hi guys!
How is everyone doing today? It's Thursday, God I'm so glad the weekend is near! I'm enjoying every single day off that I can get at the moment. Somehow I have developed this urge to take a walk in the fresh air and nature at least once in three days or so. I fear I won't be able to do this during the coming summer semester, but as long as I have some spare time between the office days I'm trying to take these walks on a regular basis.
Funnily enough I used to hate forests when I lived in the countryside, I have a little trauma dating back to a school excursion in primary school including a nightly walk through the forest... Furthermore I've seen and read too many horror books and movies, that's why I still hate forests by dawn or by night, eeek...
However in the daylight I start to get used to walking around there exploring new photo locations. I even start to like the silence, but living in the city, I'm still not used to this complete silence, which is only broken by the rustling and crackling of the animals and the wind in the trees and bushes.
As you can see, this time I didn't go to deep into the forest though, I stayed near the château .

Now for something different: I already own an army green parka but still I couldn't resist the one I'm wearing in the pics. It's one of the finds from my last Budapest trip, I really love that they have so many shops we don't have here in Germany or at least not here in my area. Stradivarius, Pull & Bear, Springfield, Camaieu etc.
This jacket was on sale at Stradivarius, I don't remember the original price, but in the end it was marked down to 20€. It's made of soft cotton, has a quilted floral lining, which is also on the inside of the hood and brown faux leather piping, so cute! I'm sure you'll see it a lot in my spring outfit shots.
Gosh, it's 6 pm right now and I'm already tired. I can't wait for spring to come, so it will get dark much later. This strange transition weather is killing me, at the moment I'm struggling with some serious sleeping problems. My biorhythm is completely messed up...
Today we had a cloudy sky in the morning, sun at noontime, rain and later even hail in the afternoon and then cloudy sky again now. What the heck?
Anyway, I hope you guys had a lovely day! Only one more day to go until the weekend, yay!
Happy Thursday!

Following you in google follow, yeahhhhhhhhhhhh
Love that parka, I used to always want one like this because it reminds me so much of one of my favourite shows, "Freaks & Geeks".
ReplyDeleteI understand completely why you feel this way about forests!!! I feel the very same about the Australian bush, having seen a few horror films about it. There is just something disconcerting about forests...I won't go into detail what exactly because I don't want to say anything creepy and ruin the next time you want to take a walk in a forest area ;) I must say though, this little place makes a very idyllic back drop for outfit photos!
Love the parka! And as Harlow before me said, it's very Freaks and Geeks! So I love it even more! :)
ReplyDeleteI'll write an email to you soon about Budapest plans! :)
