denim 'n gingham

Hi guys!

First of all: thank you so much for the nice comments on my last post! I was so touched by some of your thoughts about the photos and background story. I used to be so ignorant a couple of years ago but the older I got, the clearer I saw that we should try to have a good time with our grandparents or other old people as long as possible. They went through so much in their lives, have interesting/fantastic/moving stories to tell for the posterity, grandmas have amazing cooking and gardening tips, grandpas know everything about cars, machines and all. They simply deserve our attention.

This is what I wore to uni today, nice and simple and comfy. At the moment the German weather is totally nuts and you never know how to dress properly. There can be cold wind, rain and thunder storms in he morning and then bright sunshine and sticky heat in the afternoon. So I went for the onion technique and layered shirts and a jacket (which is not in the photos).
I've been a sucker for plaid and gingham lately, I bought so many colourful checkered shirts. I think you can never own enough checkered shirts (and dresses)!
I only had one class in the morning (the one about pseudo-sciences), so the afternoon is off for me, yay! I'm chilling at home :)

I've also been a sucker for these cool faux leather wrap-around bracelets! I love how they add this certain coolness to any outfit, i can't even explain it. Well, I like them a lot, so whatever ;)
By the way I placed my first Asos order at ther weekend and now I'm impatiently waiting for it to arrive. I'm still looking for a nice dress for a wedding next month, so maybe Asos can help me. We'll see...please arrive soon pretty dresses!
