you're crashing but you're no wave

Hi guys!

Oh my, it's been four days without a post here, I can't believe the week went by so fast! So how have you been?
I've been a busy bee, my calendar was, is and will be full of different dates, appointments, to-do-lists etc. Sounds like there won't be much time for the blog, but I can promise that I have some really nice photos up my sleeve and I'm going to use the function for preset posts a lot again ;)

And thank you all so much for your comments, I'll try to get back to them and catch up with reading your blogs asap. This is a good alternative for my learning breaks, it's so nice to read blogs or magazines after I've dealt with philosophy texts for several hours.

By the way after my exams I'll go on my very first business trip ever. How cool, I'm looking forward to this. Patrick always goes on business trips to Brussels and Paris for a German TV station and he doesn't like it at all. However I like being out and about in the world but I hardly ever leave North Rhine-Westphalia and I'm only a student assistant at my office, so why should they send me on a business trip?
But last week I was told that I am going to Hungary. Our company is outsourcing some departments to Budapest and our department chief wants me and a co-worker to fly over and instruct the new student operators, teach them how to handle our data base and so on.
I'm really happy about my very first business stay abroad and I'm so flattered that the head of our team picked me of all students. One week in Budapest at the end of July, I'm excited.

Oh before I forget to say something about the outfit: I think I wore this some day last week for an extensive sale shopping spree after uni. I got this multi-coloured dress via Ebay the other day and liked it in this outfit but I'm still not sure if it really matches my style or not. I love colourful things and the combo of grey and yellow and purple and all but what bothers me are these trashy kissing lips above the hem. They give it a tacky 90s touch, don't they? I don't know if I should keep it... we'll see.

Anyway, so next week there'll be photos of a music festival, a medieval market and hopefully also a recap on my last night out with the girls (including me dancing on a restaurant table...), so stay tuned ;)

Have a lovely Sunday!

  5. Can't wait to see your pics :) And I would be so excited to go on a business trip too! I hope you get to see a bit of Hungary while you're there and not just work work work! And I definitely want to see pics of that too.
Haha! At first I thought those were coffee beans, not lips! I do like the color they bring to the dress, but if you decide you cant stand them, is there a way to hem them out and still keep the stripes below? Then it would be more of a tunic...
I'm off to a cabin for a week, no laptop, so I'll see you online when I'm back :)
