plans, plants and a new cardi

[EN] Hey guys!

After a stressful week and a lovely long weekend due to a public holiday here in Australia I am finally back with a new post!
In the last seven days I have mainly tried to sort out what jobs I can apply for to extend my visa. You have to do 88 days of regional work to be able to apply for a second Working Holiday Visa year. The countryside, a farm, winery, nursery and jobs like gardening, pruning, fruit picking, sheep shearing etc. - you get it I guess. This will be very interesting because I'm allergic to animals with feathers or fur as well as to some plants.
Speaking of plants, another highlight of the past week was that Jarryd planted some herbs and veggies in our backyard so we can cook fresher. We were told it'll take 10-12 weeks for broccoli and cauliflower to grow so we have to be patient now. Maybe we can see some earlier results with the herbs. *fingers crossed*
As I am more of a person with a black thumb rather than a green one I only bought a mini cactus when we went to the nursery. It's tiny and cute and I move it around the house and garden so it can get as much sunlight as possible every day.

[EN] These outfit pictures are from two weeks ago when we had the first couple of cooler days to introduce the Australian autumn. After that it has been pleasant and mild for a while and now it's slowly cooling down again, I love it! Finally cardigans and scarves again!
This grey cardigan is one of my new favourites and I know I will wear the hell out of it because it's just so cozy! It's from Jeanswest but I got it second hand from the thrift shop (I think it was Good Sammy's) for $8.

// scarf: target // cardigan: jeanswest (via good sammy's) // dress: h&m // bracelet: kmart
// shoes: target children's department //

[EN] How do you like my new cardi? Oh and did I mention I found these pretty glitter boots in Target's department for young girls? It's cool to have small feet because shoes for kids are always cheaper hehehe!

Bye bye and happy Tuesday loves!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  1. I LOVE that H+M dress! I love the colour, the fabric, the shape, the hemline and the swingy look of the dress. That huge scarf from Target and your warm-looking JeansWest cardigan look pretty styled with your outfit. Best of luck finding some nice regional work that's nice and doesn't involve much contact with things you're allergic to. Happy Autumn there in Australia!

Happy Friday Ina!!

  18. You look so beautiful in this shade of purple. Good luck with everything, I hope you get to stay in Australia for as long as possible. I have a friend over here from Hong Kong who is going through the process of extending the working visa and the farm/regional work. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have known about that system at all.
