Hi guys!

Okay, I'll admit it: this weather is killing my blog. As some of you might already know I'm not a summer girl at all. You can tell from my skin. And you can tell from the neglection of the blog and from the fact that I keep repeating that I'm not a fan of summer, ha!

Anyways, apart from being at work in a nicely air-conditioned office, I've been spending most of the time at home lately to avoid sweat and insect bites. I watched The Killing a lot, my new obsession - this show is SO thrilling. Today I finished season 3 and now I'm sitting here, sipping on a glass of red wine, munching strawberries, wondering when autumn will arrive so I can wear my beloved cardis and scarves again. 

How do you like my shirt? I saw it over at Couers de Foxes some time ago and had to have it because I loved the print so much. It's one of my new favourite pieces now and I seem to rock it because I wore it out to party the other night and got to know a (drunk but) good-looking and cute boy. We dated, it didn't work out, but oh well, I still love the shirt though. It's the best thing to wear with jeans, if I didn't have to wash it now and then I would live in it.

Also I'm wearing shorts again. I still don't like my legs, but in this recent weather I'm not giving a shit cause it simply is too hot to cover up. The only alternative would be a maxi skirt - which I don't own and for which I don't have the money right now, so shorts it is. Can't wait for tights weather to come back... 

Alright, in the evening it's cooler here, so I can maybe dare to step outside for a little walk now that the sun has set. I've been enjoying walks through the neighbourhood at night lately. I love to be outside at night in the summer, there is still so much going on. People sit outside, drink, chat, ride their bikes, the ice-cream parlours are open longer, there is a gentle summer breeze every once in a while and the air is filled with a certain atmosphere that makes me want to go out and explore. That's one of the things I love about living in the city. Urban summer nights are the best!
