florals and polkadots

Hi guys!

First of all thank you so much for the feedback on my last post! It really helped to hear that I'm not the only one with this problem and to get so many encouraging and helpful comments.

I'm sorry for the two weeks hiatus, it wasn't planned and somehow I didn't even notice how the days flew by. In these last two weeks I did exactly what many of you told me to: I embraced being alone.
I tried to work at the office as much as possible, I tried to keep myself busy at home after work, I tried to make the lonely evenings at home as cozy and nice as possible and I tried to eat healthier again and to restructure my sleeping pattern.
Furthermore I sorted out some other issues and I've been feeling a lot better lately. I think I'm on a good way back to normal again - whatever "normal" is anyway.
So actually I have procrastinated writing a new blog post because getting comfortable with my recent situation has made me a wee bit lazy. In the evenings I thought about blogging but then I was like "Naaaw, I'll rather watch a series and curl up in bed." Well, maybe I'm getting a bit too comfortable with the situation... ;)

The outfit above is a cute casual ensemble I wore last weekend to a little party at my mum's place. I love the combo of florals and polkadots, especially because the polkadots are on denim! Such a cute pair of jeans from the Christmas sale! I need to wear them more often.
By the way I don't have many photos of this look because my mum was the photographer and I'm still training her, haha! ;)

Alright, that's it so far. I feels good to finally blog again after the little break, but still I will curl up in bed now with a tea and a some episodes of Supernatural. But I promise I will get back to all of your comments on my last post in the course of the next days!!

Furthermore, as a result of trying to keep myself busy at home after work, I have two recipe posts up my sleeve. Stay tuned for something hearty and something sweet, I'll post them soon.

Have a superlovely day everyone!

  16. Hey dear, came across your blog from Peet's site and after reading this post, I had to go back to your previous post to know what you were saying.

Well tbh I do understand that loneliness that you were saying until at one point of time it became simply desperation to shout out for some attention.

I think we humans are very annoying, when we know we can get attention from our parents or friends, we don't appreciate them as much hence we still feel lonely even if they are one phone call away. We crave for this uncalling attention that we know we can't get. Was that how you felt? Because that's how I felt at one point of my life but thankfully, it's all over now <3

I am back on my feet, and being all happy again <3

I do like your post because I can feel you pouring your emotions when writing them, rather than just a fashion blog or so, so I've followed you on GFC and BlogLovin, just so that I can catch up with your new posts ^^

Don't get too comfortable or keep yourself alone for too much. Get out there, smile at people and enjoy your life to the fullest!
