Hi guys!
How is or was your weekend?
God, I started to type four times now and everytime I finished a sentence I was like "No, this sounds forced." and somehow I'm lacking of the right words today. Actually I'm feeling a bit wrong-headed now.
I'll simply tell you the truth: I didn't have enough time to upload and select photos of my fleamarket spree today and my blogging-laziness caused a photo overload in my blog folders so that I'll have to catch up with posting before the chronological order becomes a complete mess.
♥ skirt worn as dress: pimkie ♥ jacket: h&m ♥ cardi: vintage ♥ belt: new yorker ♥ boots: bullboxer ♥
I wore this to work the other day to try out if the maxi skirt works as a dress and I think it does. It's a really long skirt, so even worn as a dress it's a bit longer than kneelength. But that's okay, my legs are not in shape at the moment anyway, so why not cover them.
When I found this skirt I loved the folklore gipsy pattern and dark colours from the beginning. It actually is a perfect piece for fall but who wants to wait seven months to wear it?!
Anyway, I'm really a bit embarassed about the fact that I bought this at Pimkie because this brand used to have a really bad reputration when I was younger but anyway, I buy what I like, no matter what brand it is.
Tonight I'm on my own because Patrick is away overnight, he works for a TV station and has to go to Bremen to supervise the computers for a football show. I spent my time on making a salad, baking cookies and trying out my squaw costume for the carnival parade tomorrow. It's only an improvisational DIY costume made of things I already had at home but it's better than nothing. You'll see ;)
♥ necklace: blanc et caramel ♥ rings: six & accessorize ♥
Hm it's almost eight and I still don't know if I want to watch a movie or TV or spend the evening reading or baking more cookies. I'm so indecisive at the moment, terrible. By the way we watched "Zack and Miri make a porno" yesterday. Have you seen it? I think it's one of the worst rom-coms ever! Seriously. Okay it was funny at first, but the storyline gets worse and worse towards the end. And of course it was Patrick who chose the movie (could it be because of the title?!), and afterwards he said "Please don't let me pick the film next time." ;)
Have a lovely day!
P.S. Excuse the strange quality of the photos, I think there was something wrong with the camera settings.

ReplyDeleteThat skirt really is beautiful. I too get into a blogging rut sometimes, don't worry, you will get out of it before you know it!
ReplyDeleteTake Care :)
God I love this folky look on you, you've made it work so so well! I love how perfect the skirt looks with the boots and your accessories just add the icing to the cake :) You know what your beautiful necklace always reminds me of? It looks so much like the necklace Michael Pitt's character gives his mother in Boardwalk Empire!
ReplyDeleteHaha yes, Zack and Miri Make a Porno is not so great, I find the humor to be a little too obvious and over the top...
That skirt looks great as a dress! Love it with the necklace and jacket :D
ReplyDeleteI'm in the same boat as you, I'm so far behind in outfit pictures... and my brain seems to be broken when it comes to what to write about them! It must be the seasons changing. At least I hope so ;)
