packed weekend

Hi guys!

Sorry, yesterday I didn't have time for the blog. My weekend is packed with Christmas festivities, that's what I wanted to tell you yesterday.
Last night was my company's Christmas party at the "Schwan im Stilwerk" near the Kö here in Düsseldorf. It was a nice location with an illuminated bar, lustres, a cozy lounge corner and there was a big buffet for all the employees including melon with ham (I love it!), potatoe salad and meat balls, fish, chicken, roast apple with vanilla sauce....
Even the CEO passed by our table and talked to us for a few minutes, which was really nice because I only knew him from photos before.

Today the Christmas party goes on: we'll have our household's Christmas party in the entrance hall where all the neighbours from our house meet to drink punch, eat cake and cookies, chat and do a secret Santa.
But I'll only be able to spend an hour or two there because afterwards I'm going to meet my girls, it's the last monthly girls meeting with my friends this year. And it's a special date because one of my friends will go to China for 7 months, so we need to say goodbye properly.
The plan is: Southafrican restaurant first (I'm excited, I've never tried yams or pumpkin mash), then we'll take a long walk around the old town (if the weather allows it) and maybe have dessert or a hot drink on the Christmas market :)

Oh and tomorrow I'll go to the Christmas market again - but then with some friends from university. So as you can see I'm totally Christmas-busy these days ;)

My new scrabble letter necklace, so cute! :)

Btw the photos show what I wore yesterday. It's nothing too exciting or new, it's almost the same like this one from last month. But I love this dress worn as a tunic with skinny jeans and I love mustard yellow so I wear this combo over and over again.

I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Until the next post!
